Benjamin Kirkman

Season Artist

Born on the central coast of New South Wales, Australia Benjamin began his ballet training at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. He continued his training at WAAPA and in 2008 graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts. To date his career highlights include travelling to and performing in Kim McCarthy's Sum of One at the Singapore Dance Alliance Asian Pacific Festival and the Australian Institute of Classical Dance's Dance Creations. Benjamin joined the Company as a guest artist for The Nutcracker in 2008. He was awarded a Young Artist scholarship in 2009 and since 2010 has danced with West Australian Ballet as a season artist.
