Claire Hill

Born in Perth, Claire began training with Terri Charlesworth at the Graduate College of Dance and continued her studies at the Heinz Bosl Ballet Academy in Munich, Germany. She has worked in Aalto Theatre Essen in Germany, Compania Nacional de Danza 2 in Madrid, and Teatres de la Generalitat in Valencia. In 2001 Claire won a bursary at the Monaco Dance Forum. Her career highlights have been dancing the role of Carmen in Ramon Oller’s version of the ballet and working for Nacho Duato.

What inspired you to start dancing?
"When I was ten I saw American Ballet Theatre dancing Remansos by Nacho Duato and thought I wanted to become a professional dancer so that I could dance something as beautiful as that."
