Daniel Roberts
Daniel graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts secondary school in 2005. He continued his training at The Australian Ballet School where he graduated in 2008 with an Advanced Diploma in Classical Ballet and another in Classical Choreography, making him the first student in the school’s history to graduate with a double diploma.
In 2009 Daniel joined the Singapore Dance Theatre where he danced in numerous contemporary works by David Dawson, Jorma Elo and Choo San Goh. He was also a featured dancer in Raymonda pas de deux, Swan Lake, Giselle and The Sleeping Beauty, all of which were staged by the company’s director Janek Schergen.
Daniel joined West Australian Ballet in 2011 and has danced the role of Lutencio in The Taming of the Shrew and Prince Charming in Cinderella. He is very happy to be dancing with West Australian Ballet under the directorship of Ivan Cavallari.
