David Mack

David began his training at the Victorian College of Arts in 1998 finishing his secondary school education and also completing a tertiary degree, Bachelor of Arts in Dance. After briefly freelancing while studying he joined West Australian Ballet in 2002 and stayed with the Company until the end of 2003. In June 2004 David joined the Rambert Dance Company in London where he spent 2 years performing principal and soloist roles in works by Christopher Bruce, Rafael Bonachela, Wayne McGregor, Fredrick Ashton, Kim Branstrup and Michael Clark. In 2006 David was invited to work with Javier de Frutos at Phoenix Dance Theatre, a whole new body of work was created for the Company receiving the critics circle award for Best Repertoire in 2007 and further nominations the following year for best choreography. David is very excited to once again be back in Western Australia working with West Australian Ballet, under Ivan's Artistic Direction.
