Born in Hong Kong, Polly began dancing when her family relocated to The Gold Coast, QLD under the tutorage of the Ransley sisters and Fiona Munroe. She was then accepted into The Australian Ballet School in 2007 during which time she received awards for excellence in classical ballet and character dance. Polly was chosen to represent the school on exchange at the School of American Ballet, New York and The National Ballet School in Canada. Highlights included touring with the Dancers Company, working with Kylian and Balanchine trust repetiteurs and in 2010 dancing with the company in Peggy! performing the grand pas de deux. After graduating in 2011 with an Advanced Diploma, Polly joined The Australian Ballet s Education Ensemble and in 2012-2013, after receiving coaching at Prudence Bowen Atelier, danced with The Australian Ballet for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane seasons of Swan Lake. Polly is thrilled to be joining the West Australian Ballet as an Artist in March of this year and is looking forward to exploring the 2013 season repertoire.
