Robert Mills

Born in Sydney, Robert trained at the McDonald College and graduated from the New Zealand School of Dance in 2002. While studying he danced with the Royal New Zealand Ballet in their 2001 National tour. In January 2003 he joined the Singapore Dance Theatre where he stayed for 7 years working with choreographers such as David Dawson, Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Ohad Naharin, Natalie Weir, and Graham Lustig. His highlights there include performing Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, Jorma Elo’s Glow-Stop, and travelling to Paris, London and Shanghai. Robert joined West Australian Ballet in January 2010 and is thrilled to be back home in Australia. He performed the soloist role in Petr Zuska’s The Rite of Spring.
