Sarah Sutcliffe

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Sarah began her ballet training at June Steven's Dance Academy in Perth, Western Australia. She later trained at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Sarah has performed in ballets such as Don Quixote, Paquita and as a guest young artist in West Australian Ballet's 2007 production of Coppèlia. Sarah joined West Australian Ballet as a young artist in 2008, and was promoted to permanent artist during Ballet at the Quarry 2008. Her favourite roles include Bianca in Taming of the Shrew, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
"I'm a gym junkie. Also enjoy going cycling with my boyfriend Dan."
