BALLET IN THE COMMUNITY

Chelsea is a brave 12-year-old who was born with dysplastic kidneys. this means that her kidneys are deteriorating quickly and she will eventually need a transplant. Chelsea was able to attend a morning with the dancers at West Australian Ballet to enjoy a sneak peak at what goes on in class each day! Chelsea relished her morning and loved the opportunity to further explore her interest in ballet.

We want you to have greater access to all that we do!

Over 6,000 people participate in West Australian Ballet's Community Programs annually, from school children, teachers, fellow artists, volunteers and the general public. These programs provide the opportunity for anyone to learn more about and be entertained by dance.

Thousands of children benefit from this program every year, including disadvantaged children and those living in remote communities. Help these kids to be reached and to develop confidence, compassion, coordination and the knowledge to go out and live an active and healthy life!

Good things happen to good people.
