Under 30 and fancy free
West Australian Ballet has launched a new initiative in 2013: Thursday Ballet Club.
On Thursday nights, if you're aged 18-29, the ballet is the place to be. Get your ballet fix for $30 a ticket, at any of WAB's Thursday night performances in His Majesty's Theatre, available in A or B reserve.
Later, present your ballet ticket at the art and design focussed Venn Bar+Cafe, 16 Queen Street Perth, for food and drink specials. La Sylphide Thursday Ballet Clubbers can have a gourmet charcuterie and cheese board for two with two glasses of boutique Australian wine for $35.

Happy birthday WAB HQ!
We know, it doesn't feel like one whole year since we officially opened the doors to our magnificent West Australian Ballet Centre... but it is!
This Friday 12 April marks 12 months to the day since Premier Colin Barnett and Mayor Terence Kenyon cut the ribbon, and if that's not a reason to celebrate, we don't know what is.
Please join us any time between 12 noon and 2pm for tea, coffee, bubbles and a slice of Sherbet's famous red velvet cake or Mrs S' lemon ricotta cheesecake at our beloved HQ (thanks Sherbet and Mrs S for supplying the cake in such neighbourly spirit!)
And because we are feeling festive, we will also give away a very special West Australian Ballet Centre Pack (memorabilia and event tickets) as a door prize for one lucky guest. Plus there will be a first birthday raffle with some amazing prizes. (Tiffany signature key necklace, anyone?)
