SHOW US YOUR TANGO
And WIN with West Australian Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet.
We want to see you dancing across the state to celebrate WAB’s tour of Youri Vámos’ spell-binding 1930’s-inspired production of Romeo and Juliet exclusive to regional WA.
In this production, while Romeo is sneaking into the Capulet Ball, Juliet watches the guests perform a tango, the dance of passion. We want you to grab your phone or camera, find a friend (or several) and send us the footage of your best tango. At the theatre, in your living room, on the streets... don’t be afraid to get out there, after all life is a dance.

The most creative entry will win our Perth escape prize package for 2 which includes luxury accommodation at the Parmelia Hilton, a beauty makeover at Head Studio, plus 2 Premium tickets to our next stunning ballet at His Majesty’s Theatre, Onegin September 20 > October 5.
Send your videos to cwilliamson@waballet.com.au before July 14. We want to use your footage, with Prokofiev’s score, to put together a statewide community tango montage, so remember to mention in your email that you agree to your footage being broadcast on WAB’s YouTube page.
If you get your entry in before Romeo and Juliet hits your town, you’ll also go into the draw to win a double pass to the show. Closing dates are: Geraldton 20 June; Albany 27 June; Mandurah 1 July and Bunbury 4 July. Please email your clip by 4pm and include your venue as the subject header.
