Private Giving and Major Gifts

Patron: Alex Wright

Your contribution to West Australian Ballet's Private Giving Program assists the Company to provide world class repertoire to inspire our audiences, offer vital training opportunities for talented young dancers, and to deliver th best possible support to keep our dancers on their toes!

Private giving and corporate sponsorship bridge the gap between box office revenue and government funding - around 23% of required annual income. Therefore your donation, major gift or bequest not only contributes to the success of our many programs and projects across the state, but assists the long term sustainability of your ballet company.

Gifts, no matter how large or small, are appreciated and fully tax deductible. All of our valued donors receive West Australian Ballet's biannual publication, Ballet NEws. Donations over $500 are acknowledged in Company publications, and included special insights and recognition through our exclusive Ballet Circle.

Giving levels include:

$500+ Artists' Circle
$1,000+ Leading Artists' Circle
$2,000+ Choreographers' Circle
$5,000+ Artistic Director's Circle

A gift to West Australian Ballet can make a vital differene to the life of our extraordinary dancers and aspiring young dancers. Private giving assists the Company in three key areas:

Repertoire
Surrounding repertoire development enables the Artistic Director to purchase much-loved ballets, or commission new works by world-renowned choreographers or aspiring young talent.

Dancer Wellbeing
A healthy dancer is a appy dancer. Keeping West Australian Ballet's dancers in tip-top condition requires some very special  care and attention from a team of dedicated physiotherapists, masseurs, and healthcare professionals.

Young dancers
Technique development, mentoring and stage experience are necessary skills for aspiring young dancers hoping to enter a professional company. Programs and scholarships are offered to talented young dancers, regardless of background or financial status.
